I'm Ian Gibson, a British immigrant to the United States working in higher education. My main interests are cycling, exercise physiology as it relates to cycling, astronomy, philosophy, and literature. This is where I write about all of these things, and more.
To make things easier to navigate, I've divided my website up into several separate sections, listed in decreasing order of esotericism:
Training Notes: infrequent updates on my cycling training
Cycling: a collection of articles, mostly on the science of cycling
Articles: longer pieces I occasionally write on topics other than cycling
Reading: books I've read, with commentary
Comment: my blog on anything else that's caught my attention
And my personally-developed Cycling Training Plan: distilled training knowledge
My reading activities on Goodreads
My Strava page has many of my cycling activities
My YouTube page is home to the cycling videos I've made
You can get in touch with me via email
You can receive the latest updates by entering your email address into the subscribe box in any of the five sections
